Help Wanted

The week before the show is the crucial time when most preparations to the field take place, we urgently need many more people to help this year. Please help us if you can, on the dates listed below.

We ask willing parents of St Nicholas School please to put your names down on the roster that will be going around the school playground at pick up time. Any time that you can spare to help would be very gratefully received. All other volunteers, please either contact Duncan Kendall on 0118 934 2852 or tick the boxes, fill in your details and click the "I can help" button below.

At all times when helping, we ask people not to bring children. It's too messy when jumps are being painted and too dangerous when marquees and scaffolding are being erected.

Sunday 20th   Horse Show Jump Painting, Willowmead Field, anytime from 10:30am onwards. We suggest old clothes for this painting job!

Tuesday 22nd Setting up for the Horse Show, Willowmead and School Fields, from 6:30pm onwards. Includes putting up the tents and marquees, the arenas, the stalls and a host of jobs that have to be done before Saturday morning!
This is always a very social activity and often we end the evening with a drink or two at a local pub.
Wednesday 23rd
Thursday 24th
Friday 25th

Saturday 26th Help with the bar and food in the Beer and Food Tent at the Show. Tick the box(es) and fill in your details below or contact Brendan Farrell or Paul Gough.
Sunday 27th

Sunday 27th Initial clearing up the Showground - after the show. The main priority is to clear the School Field.

Monday 28th Clearing up the Showground - we require as much help as possible to ensure a smooth clearance of the showground in preparation for Party in the Park. There will be lots to be done, including taking down a marquee or two (weather permitting) and loading up the trailer.
Followed by a well earned drink at the pub!
